PRESS RELEASE
Link Processing Partners with EPOS Card to Launch “B2B Invoice Payment Service” for Corporate Card Members
Empowering SMEs with Card-Based Payments for Invoices to Enhance Cash Flow and Digital Transformation
TOKYO – February 19, 2026 – Link Processing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President Atsushi Saito; hereinafter "Link Processing"), a group company of Infcurion, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO Hiroki Maruyama; hereinafter "Infcurion"), today announced a strategic business alliance with EPOS Card Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President Shoichi Aida;hereinafter "EPOS Card") to launch a new B2B invoice payment service for Epos Card’s corporate card members.
This service allows businesses to settle bank-transfer-based invoices using credit cards. Notably, it also supports the payment of social insurance premiums—which have traditionally required manual, over-the-counter handling—thereby significantly streamlining accounting workflows and optimizing cash flow for corporate users.
■ Background and Objectives
Despite the push for digitalization, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Japan still rely on manual accounting processes. According to the "Business Payment General Survey 2025" (*1) conducted by Infcurion, , 23% of small-scale businesses (with 1–20 employees) still use ATMs or bank counters as their primary payment method. Conversely, approximately half of all businesses surveyed expressed a desire for digital, data-driven invoice management.
In this evolving landscape, expanding value-added services to enhance convenience and drive transaction value for corporate members has become a pivotal strategic priority for credit card issuers. Furthermore, with the enforcement of the "Act on the Promotion of Subcontracting SMEs" on January 1, 2026, ordering companies are now required to ensure appropriate consideration and prevent payment delays more stringently than ever. Additionally, for industries such as wholesale, construction, and transportation, where payments often precede revenue collection, stabilizing cash flow is a critical challenge.
In response to legal requirements to strictly adhere to payment deadlines, this scheme allows businesses to switch bank transfers to card payments, effectively extending payment deadlines by up to approximately 60 days, directly contributing to the securing of cash on hand and cash flow improvement.
While meeting payment deadlines and handling financial settlements are significant management challenges for ordering companies, card issuers have found it difficult to offer invoice card payment services independently due to the burden of building settlement schemes and maintaining operational structures.
Addressing these challenges, this partnership combines EPOS Card’s corporate card member base with Link Processing’s "LP Business Invoice Card Pay" (LP Seikyusho Card Barai) platform to establish a system that offers a new payment experience to members. (*2). In this partnership, EPOS Card is responsible for providing the service and promoting usage through its touchpoints with corporate card members, while Link Processing handles everything from settlement scheme design and system provision to business operations. This allows EPOS Card to quickly offer services that enhance the value of corporate cards without having to build and operate a new settlement platform in-house.
