Infcurion’s “Xard” and “CharG” Adopted as the Payment Infrastructure for Seven Bank’s “money ring” Financial Education

Infcurion, Inc.

Combining Visa prepaid card issuance and management via “Xard” with a multi-channel top-up environment via “CharG,” delivering comprehensive support from issuance through everyday use

Infcurion, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroki Maruyama; hereinafter “Infcurion”) is pleased to announce that its next-generation card issuance platform “Xard” and its top-up platform “CharG” have been adopted as the payment infrastructure for “money ring,” an allowance-based Financial Education that Seven Bank, Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masaaki Matsuhashi; hereinafter “Seven Bank”) will launch on July 16, 2026.
“money ring,” offered by Seven Bank, is a next-generation financial-literacy service that combines an allowance-tracking app with a Visa prepaid card issued by Seven Bank (*1), empowering children to build essential life skills—such as planning and decision-making—through everyday, real-world spending. By integrating “Xard,” the platform underpinning Seven Bank’s issuance and management of the Visa prepaid card, with “CharG,” which enables top-ups from Seven Bank ATMs nationwide and from credit cards, Infcurion supported the launch of a safe, secure, and seamless payment environment for the service.
This initiative further expands the deployment of “Xard” for consumer (B2C) cards, building on the B2B (corporate) domain in which “Xard” has already established an extensive track record.

◆ Background to This Implementation and the Value Delivered by “Xard” and “CharG”
As revisions to Japan’s national curriculum guidelines heighten the importance of financial and economic education, there is growing demand for practical opportunities for children to build financial literacy in their everyday lives. Positioning the advancement of next-generation financial literacy as a priority theme, Seven Bank developed “money ring” as a new educational service that encourages children to think for themselves and engage with money.
By providing the API-based “Xard” infrastructure, which centralizes the issuance and management of Visa prepaid cards, together with “CharG,” which seamlessly embeds a top-up network, Infcurion is supporting Seven Bank—the card issuer—in launching the service. As a result, “money ring” delivers a seamless user experience in which children can safely make payments at Visa merchants within the balance a parent has loaded in advance through the app.

◆ Key Benefits of Adopting “Xard” and “CharG”
1. One-stop setup of a seamless payment environment—from issuance to top-up and use
“Xard,” which manages the full lifecycle of Visa prepaid cards, is provided in combination with “CharG,” which supports top-ups from Seven Bank ATMs nationwide and from credit cards. Without building a complex, proprietary payment system in-house, a company can implement the entire chain of payment operations—from issuance to instant top-up and the visualization of transaction history—in a single stop.

2. Broad-based support
Going beyond simply providing payment infrastructure, Infcurion delivers comprehensive support that includes sharing its deep UI/UX expertise and assisting issuers with the registration and operation of prepaid payment instruments. By helping issuers overcome the operational and governance hurdles that can be barriers to entering the card-issuing business, Infcurion helps build services that balance convenience with reliability.

3. High flexibility and scalability to meet the needs of startups and operating companies
Through open APIs, “Xard” makes it possible to embed financial and payment functions optimized for a company’s business model. Going forward, Infcurion will continue to propose and provide flexible payment solutions tailored to diverse governance requirements and user needs for operating companies and startups considering entry into card issuing.
*1 The issuer of the “money ring” Visa prepaid card is Seven Bank. Visa-branded card issuance is enabled through the framework of Life Card Co., Ltd., the BIN sponsor.
